Jeff Caudill - Here's Where You Should Try To Be - 2xLP

Future Vampire Club is beyond excited to announce the release of Jeff Caudill's 'Here's Where You Should Try To Be' 2xLP!

This collection combines both of Jeff's early, self released, solo albums, 'Here's What You Should Do' (Fortunate Son 2005) and 'Try To Be Here' (Fortunate Son 2008) released on vinyl for the first time!

HWYSTTB contains brand new artwork created by Jeff, new sequencing and has been mastered for vinyl. FVC is very proud to say that this is being pressed in our home state at Jack White's Third Man Pressing in Detroit, MI.

This is planned to ship in mid-December, but please be aware the constantly changing world of vinyl production makes this a moving target. Edit - "Official" release date was 1/14/2021

Putting this collection out following the release of Jeff's 'Old Blood' EP (2021) seemed like a perfect way to end our second year as a label and celebrate Jeff's 50th trip around the sun. We're really excited to be working with Jeff for the second time in our short existence and extremely proud of how this release has unfolded. Many fans of Jeff's other projects, Gameface, March, Your Favorite Trainwreck, may not even be aware of these albums and I can't wait for these songs to get out there and onto turntables all over the world. - Jake, FVC

From the original releases:

"The second coming of Michael Stipe"

"For any self-respecting power pop fan the answer to the title is: "Go out and buy this record!"
- David Cawling from Amercian-Uk.com (Here's What You Should Do)

"Instantly memorable songs that swing with an outrageously catchy hook"
- Whisperin' and Hollerin' (Try to Be Here)

"...with heart-on-sleeve urgency that calls to mind Bob Mould or Eddie Vedder"
- LA Times (TTBH)

"Even with his more rocking past, Caudill knew how to craft a hook, and he continues to do so while looking back on his van-and-club days with 'I Was the Lead Singer," or channeling Elvis Costello & the Attractions on 'Remember the Time' "
